It looks like we're going to be there for the Halloween party dates. I've got a few questions that I'm hoping y'all can answer:

Is this just for resort guests?
What are the hours?
Are the rides open?
Does it sell out and if so, how early? (Should I buy ticket as soon as it comes out?)
Is it crowded (i.e. do you have to stake out parade spots, long lines for rides, etc)
If you had to choose between Friday (10/1) or Sunday (10/3), which one?

It is for anyone to attend. However it requires separate admission. The party usually goes 7pm-midnight. However in the past you have been allowed in as early as 4pm w/ your MNSSHP ticket only.

Pretty much all the rides and attractions were open w/ a few exceptions. Halloween sells out and last year 10/30 did as well. I wouldn't worry too much about the early one's selling out. I went on a sold out night. There were decent size crowds. But many rides were walk on. Which was great!! Personally I would pick Sunday. With school and work the next day, it will attract less locals.
