I have tried to post like 3 times but every time it says I'm posting a duplicate thread. When I try to find the thread by searching for posts stared by me, it pulls up ones with other names. Not cool!

Okay my goals for MNSSHP; I am attending on my second night in FL but it will be my first time walking into a disney park when we go to the party.

we will be eating dinner early and I hope to get into the MK at 4 pm

1. Two boys hair cut at Barbershop

2. Ride Carousel, Dumbo, Peter Pan, Small World

3. Will it be past 7 by now to take a family picture for the party??

4. Ride Big Thunder, Splash Mountain

5. 8 PM parade

6. Trick or Treating

7. Costume Party

8. Ride Buzz, Space Mt., Indy Speedway.

Will I have the time to do all these without rushing? Is 3 hrs long enough to do the haircuts and ride the four rides before 7? Will I have time for the two rides before the 8 o'clock parade? How much time should I set for each thing. I am not one to sit and wait for the parade to start. We will watch from wherever we are and catch parades later in the week.

The 'duplicate thread' thing has happened to me too, while neither supposed post ever appears on the boards!

none of mine went on the board either, but I managed to Hijack my own thread....LOL!!

I guess I would just point out that it isn't a 100% confirmed thing about being let in the park at 4pm, they will tell you 7pm althought many say in previous years it has been 4pm.

The only other thing I can think to point out is at 6pm they get the patygoers together and you are shuffled off to TomorrowLand

We are planning to have dinner at Cosmic Ray's just before the party.... Is this a good or bad idea, given that everyone who is attending the party will also be in Tomorrowland?

Is the only real way to get earlier to book a priority seating for say 4:30- 5pm and with the priority seatings do you pay when booking or on arrival, ie do I have to put it on my credit card or can I pay cash when we get there?
Oh and Pyrxtc the schedule looks pretty good but I'm a first timer like you so I look forward to learning from the pro's...Thanks for the awesome post just too bad you had such difficulty! Is anyone tooo excited to sleep??? :cool1:

Just remember at 6pm - you have to go to Tomorrowland - that is where everyone is from 6-7 so they can get the park ready...

As for getting on the rides - After everyone is let out of Tomorrowland and able to explore - there were no wait times for us anywhere... We walked on to Spalsh - we walked on to SM - everything we tried was a walk on... before we were all released we had to wait 20 minutes for Stitch - but afterwards - walk on...

So not sure if you will be able to get to those 4 rides before 7pm - but afterwards you should have no problem.

Have fun!

Thank you! I'm hoping that I can get in at 4 pm. I really want to get my boy's haircut before we take all our pictures. My youngest DS has been called a girl more time than I want. I don't want to wait til our next visit to MK 3 days later. In my old stuff from MNSSHP, it says they were corraled into Fantasyland.

When we went in 03 we were corralled to Tomorrowland also. As for the Parade, yes you can watch it from where you are, but you will not be able to catch it later in the week, b/c the MNSSHP parade, is a Halloween parade, not one that they do normally during the week. So unless you are doing several nights of the Halloween party.

I think where you may get stuck is the haircut, there is usually quite the wait for those. Especially since you are going later in the day.

We have reservations at the Crystal Palace at 5:25 on the day we're going to MNSSHP. I wonder what they'll do with us if we're done eating before 7.
