We are so ready to get down to the world!!! This year we have decided to purchase the photopass CD for up to 300 pictures. Reading the threads it says that you get a special photopass card for the Party for up to 50% off a photo. My question is can I get those pictures along with the regular photopass that I plan to buy.

Yes. You can get your MNSSHP pictures added to your regular Photopass. You simply will not get the 50% off the MNSSHP prints that they offer to you the night of the party...

I feel totally dense about this, and I'm asking because I suspect WDW will do the same thing for MVMCP this year which we will be attending --

How does the 50% off party night deal work? You have photos taken during the party on your special party night card, and then --- ? Do you have to order prints that night for the deal, or if you keep your party card separate from your regular Photopass card, can you order the party night prints from home for the discount? I'm sorry -- I totally get Photopass, I know how free party night photos USED to work but I'm not catching on to the 50% off party photo thing....

You can do either, you can get your photos printed at the park and receive 50% off the 5x7s or you can order them online and receive the 50%. You just register your photopass card on line, and when you are checking out you input the card number again as the promo code. I ordered two 5x7s after Friday nights party - $16 and some change include tax and shipping.

The line after the 2nd parade on 9/22 was SOOOO long in the Exposition Bldg with people getting their photos. I don't know if they had special MNSSHP borders available at the parks that were not available on line - but there was no way I was standing in that line at 11pm

Thank you so much for the explanation! I'm really guessing that MVMCP will work the same way this year. I agree about not waiting in the parks for photos (and hey, wasn't that the whole brilliant idea behind photopass in the first place?!?) but I do wish they'd stop this foolishness of making certain borders and treatments only available IN the parks....
