MNSSHP outfit

Hiya, I'm hopefully attending the party this year and need some outfit advice.

I WAS just going to wear a black dress with black ankle boots and tights and wear my niece's Jack Sparrow hat she bought from WDW and then buy a sword or something, and jazz it up with glowstick necklaces and bracelets when it gets dark.

However I've heard people properly dress up and I'll apparently look dumb without a proper outfit! I don't really want to BUY a female pirate outfit and I don't really have anything I can use, so that's why I thought I'd just wear the black dress with loads of heavy eyeliner and the Jack Sparrow hat.

Thoughts? 18 year old female, by the way and I'm going solo.

I think what you have sounds fine! I went to the party at Disneyland this year, and I dressed up as Harry Potter. I wore black skinny jeans, a Deathly Hallows t-shirt, a Hogwarts sweatshirt I designed with puffpaint, a Gryffindor scarf and the frame of 3D glasses. And I drew a scar on, of course I did not feel uncomfortable or too casual wearing a basic outfit.
