MNSSHP or Universal Studios

I know these are at complete opposite ends of the scale but we had planned to go to Universal Studios for a day during this visit, however, after watching the DVD of our last visit which included MNSSHP, we now would like to go to it again.
Our last visit was 2010 and not been to Universal since 2007. Kids will be 2, 5 and 8.

What would you choose? Pros and cons of both?

Silly question - is there anyway you could do both?

We're heading out 6 week's today and will be going to both. can't resist. If I could only do one I'd go with MNSSHP just because its seasonal & I'm not sure when we will back for fall. Universal does have a lot of new rides atm; I can't wait to mosey around the revamped Springfield & ride transformers. We did the new Despicable Me ride in March which was great too.

Whichever way you decide to go I hope you have a fabulous time

Both maybe an option, pending the behaviour of kids and wife At the moment only 1!!!

If it came to a straight choice, I would say MNSSHP is more suitable for kids. I haven't been to the Universal Halloween thing for many years but it wasn't particularly kid friend the last time I was there.
