MNSSHP or MVMCP

I'm sure they both have pros and cons.
Considering the crowds, weather, festivities etc....
choose one...which would you got to before the other?

In terms of just the event itself, I would say MNSSHP wins out. In terms of the rest of the experience, for us, it's MVMCP that we are returning to this year.

I think the Halloween parade is more special/spectacular, the trick or treating gives the party a little extra element of fun, and the transformation that happens for the party is QUITE something.

But we love Christmas, we love basking in the WDW holiday glow, and since we have to pick one we're picking it for our trip this year.... We also prefer the slightly cooler weather -- October can still be pretty hot and can still catch the tail-end of hurricane season....

Take for granted we've never been to either......but we're going to MNSSHP this year!!!!! We've been to Disney World during Christmas and we've never really had any desire to do the Christmas Party. We've seen the park decorated up. On the other hand, I love Fall and the Halloween season. I have been dying to visit the parks during this time but have never been able to due to work conflicts. I'm finally getting able to this year and am so excited. Dh went to Disney World for the first time in January and he fell in love with it so he was a pretty easy sale for this trip! For me, I would pick MNSSHP. It just sounds like more fun!

MVMCP for us. We only went once and I fell in love with all of WDW during this time of year. The party is really magical and alot of fun. Besides I prefer Christmas over Halloween.

However we are going to our first MNSSHP this year and we are looking forward to this event. I'm sure we will have lots of fun and that it is a must for visitors at that time of year.

2007 will probably see us returning to WDw for the MVMCP.

I LOVE both very much! My favorite subject here on the DIS.

I did MVMCP first and then again the next year. Then we started alternating each year. I was lucky enough to do both last year!

If I really had to pick one, though, it would be MVMCP. December is such a magical time at WDW. We LOVE the Christmas parade out of all the parades at WDW (that's what my two girls say). We loved the special MVMCP fireworks and shows too.

MNSSHP is also great fun. The parade is cute, the fireworks great. Its so much fun to trick or treat at MK! The park's transformation is amazing since there isn't much decorations during the day.

I'd still give the edge to MVMCP but try and do both whenever possible.
