MNSSHP non-party goers question

I had heard that for MNSSHP and MVMCP, that the park closes to regular guests without a ticket for the party at 6:00 - and that they try to get the non-party-goers out by 7:00.

Is that the case? I had heard for MVMCP last year that they shut down the rides between 6 and 7 - just wanted to check - thanks

They are no longer closing the parks to day guests early. The park closes to them at 7pm and the parties start at 7pm.

We were just there when they were running the Night of Joy. They started letting people into the park with just Night of Joy admissions between 400-430 the event started at 6 so those who did not have special admission were asked to leave at 600. I am not sure what time the MNSSHP starts but we have tickets for the 5th of October and the CM's assured me we could get in around 430 :cool1:

Non-party goers who are in the park, can stay in the park, just can't go on rides, trick-or-treating, etc. Party'goers are issued bracelets which identify them as a paid party participater.

They let MNSSHP-goers in at 4PM, party starts at 7PM, in between 4 - 7 they let the non-party goers out, there are CM's with signs showing the non ticket holders/no wristband guests the way out of the park. They leave on the right side from inside the park, the MNSSHP ticket holders go in on the left side (standing inside the park)

I don't think I saw anyone without a wristband while in the park during the party, it's bright orange and most people wanted it to be seen as they were part of the party. I didn't stare at everybody's arms ;), I was just curious being a first time MNSSHP'er, to see if there were any people without wristbands left in the park, CM's did a great job :thumbsup2

they shouldnt be able to do that, I pay the extra money to stay so I can see the parade and fireworks...so now they can stay and take up a spot I could have been in, doesnt sound right.

Not true. They try to get all non-party goers out and from what I've been reading about last Friday's party, the CMs did a great job! :cool1:

This is not true. People without tickets for the party are asked to leave the park. I have witnessed them being very strict about this. If they didn't, there would be an awful lot of people who paid the extra $ complaining. You might be thinking of EMH p.m.'s which allow non Disney resort guests to stay in the park but not go on any rides.

People with tickets can usually enter around 4:00. Party starts at 7:00. In the past they closed the park at 6:00. All party goers were escorted to one land that was kept open, while those without tickets were asked to leave. This year the WDW site shows the park not closing until 7:00. When I called WDW the CM told me they were still going to be closing at 6:00 and didn't understand why the site said differently. You never know who to believe. We'll know more as MNSSSHPs start taking place. People here on the Dis will let us know how the closing of the park is working.

while we were walking in we saw alot of people leaving, before getting in lines for the rides they had cm's out asking to see your wrist band, later in the evening they had a guy walking around with a ghost on a stick with a wrist band kinda looking for people who didn't have one on. so I think they did a good job in that respect.
