I'd like to see some of the responses folks are getting from these e-mails. Please post when you hear back.

We have our tickets for Oct 10th... oh, and I checked the hours of operation at MK that day, it has the park closing at 7pm...

My email must not have sounded ANGRY enough! :rotfl2: I sent it last week and haven't received a response. :confused3

I sent an e-mail last week and still did not get any type of reply. Then, last night I sent another e-mail and received the standard auto re-action e-mail. The picture being omitted is really bugging me.

Glad I read this before buying my tickets. We have 2 weeks to go before our trip and we really want to go to MNSSHP on the 22nd, but I'm now worried about everything I've read. Not getting the free picture doesn't bother me so much, although it would've been nice. But, we have never done an extra event at WDW and really wanted to do this with our almost 3 yr old DS. I might wait until I hear more from people about this before making a final decision. I don't care if we don't get to ride on the rides, although it's a nice perk during the party, but we'd be there for all the other stuff - parades, fireworks & character greetings if they don't force people out.

I think everyone in this thread has missed this other post.

Please read all of this replys. Most of these people have emailed and called Disney to address this issue. Lots of different answers from Disney. The finial conclusion for me after reading this thread is , we may not get in the park till
7:00 unless you have a ADR for dinner. You will not get a free Pic. The first few partys will be the test to see how this new clossing time works. I have my ticket for Oct 2. I'm keeping a eye for those people going in Sept to see how it went for them. Hope this helps. :confused3 Tina

I read and participated in those threads and I still believe we will be let in after 4:00p with just our party tickets. Of course, unofficially though.

I believe that rather than a free photo, they are including it on the PhotoPass system for 50% off. Better than nothing, and no long lines to wait in.

i can't believe there won't be pictures this year. :guilty:
i just looked over the letter that came with the tickets and there is definitely no mention of pics. i know that was a big selling point in the past, so it seems logical that it would be on the letter. fireworks, parades and trick-or-treating are listed but not pictures. :furious:

Just a question, I´ll buy the photopass CD so can I add the mnsshp pic to photopass card?it would be a "free" photo...thanks!

No one knows until the first party. Last year, no you couldn't add the souvenir photo to Photopass as the photos were taken by a photography company and done totally separate from the Photopass system, but this year rumor has it there will be Photopass photos all around the park and we will possibly get 50% off of one photo instead of the free photo so if this is the case then yes you can get any photos taken at the party put on to Photopass and then put onto the CD.

Thanks!I have my last year mnsshp pic and wish I can also get it this year...

we are attending on Oct 12 for the first time and taking 6 people. This is going to upset me if I am standing in a large crowd w/o wrist bands.

If you are going to order the Photopass CD, you can have your MNSSHP pictures transferred to your regular Photopass card. Then you can print the pictures yourself, which is better than that 50% deal for each MNSSHP picture.

True, but my family never has enough 'good' Photopass photos taken to make the CD worth the $99 for us so this 50% discount will probably be used by us so it is better then nothing.
