MNSSHP night and cali grill

we are going to make reservations for california grill on the sunday 10/26/08
its a MNSSHP night and we wont be attending the party that night
will we be able to see the "special" halloween fireworks they do for the party or not??

Good question, I had asked the same regarding P&PP fireworks .

According to Disney Dining (phone) you can see and hear the fireworks!
I would be interested to hear from others that have been at CG during "party nights"

Yes, you will be able to see the fireworks. We have an 8:00pm reservation at CG on a MNSSHP night and plan on seeing the fireworks that night.

Do they play the special event music as well?

You can hear the music from the outside deck - and last time we were there they told us that even if we had finished dinner we were welcome to return to the deck for the fireworks - it's a nice place to watch them.
