Hi all
Is the MNSSHP worth it?
1. Is it really crowded?
2. Is it easy to find a spot for the parade ?

What's your favorite thing?
Thinking of going on Oct 18!

Thanks

Honestly, I find MNSSHP to be one of the best special events WDW has all year. It is absolutely worth the price.

As far as a spot for the parade...if you can wait for the second run of the parade I would recommend that. Generally families with younger children will watch the first one and bolt out of the park. If you can wait/plan on staying until close then I would ride, visit characters, trick or treat, etc. during the first parade and aim for the second one. You should have no trouble finding a spot.

My family loves MNSSHP. We took a trip last weekend specifically to go to the party on the 30th. We've only ever gone in late September, so I can't really say anything about the crowds in October, but we find the parties to be very manageable.

My favorite part is the parade, and we grabbed seats for the second showing of it right after watching Hallowishes. We were right across the bridge into Liberty Square, and that area didn't really start filling up until about 15 minutes before the parade started. The 2nd showing can be a bit of a gamble sometimes, though. It's a very rainy season for Florida. I was afraid the 2nd showing was going to be cancelled due to rain when we went (it was delayed a bit, so was Hallowishes). So just keep that in mind if you decide to wait for the 2nd parade. We've always been getting candy or meeting characters during the first parade, so I can't really say anything about crowds for that one.

1. Main Street and the hub are crowded most of the night.
2. We've never had an issue finding a spot in Frontierland or Town Square for the second parade.

My favorite thing about the party is the Hocus Pocus Villains Spelltacular.

If you are "into" Halloween, then yes, yes, yes it is totally worth it! If you are not into Halloween, well, you might still enjoy the short line rides and generally improved fireworks. The parties can be crowded, but most of the crowds are there to witness the party-exclusive stuff, so it centers around the hub and the unique party-only characters. If you want rides, lines are short. If you wait and watch the second parade it is much easier to get a spot as well. Generally it is a very enjoyable and different time in MK.

Yay! So excited.
I will be solo, but planning on having a great time.
Where are the character meet and greets?!
So there's a parade
The firework show
Character meets and what else?!

Totally worth the money. The second parade is easier to get a good viewing spot. Besides the regular fireworks, there are the Hallowishes fireworks and the Hocus Pocus Villain Show. All the characters are in costume and you'll get a bunch of chocolate.

You should go at least once.. Your family will never forget the time you trick or treated around magic kingdom getting handfuls of candy at each stop. Then you also have the parade with characters you don't usually see, then you have lots of characters out to meet and to top it off, a special fireworks and stage show... Oh there is also the rides but generally I don't do too many and just enjoy MNSSHP itself but of course you need to stop at haunted mansion with the halloween vibe going around.. The place also changes it's background music and colored lighting scheme to match..

It might be my favorite ticketed event disney has. Christmas party is nice but somethign about trick or treating and the villians out and about make it a really different experience during MNSSHP.

We went this past Tuesday. We got a great spot for the Hocus Pocus show and parade in the hub in front of the castle and we didn't have to wait long!

We left the hub after the first parade and rode a few rides and had some food. We went back to the hub about 15 minutes before Hallowishes and we got a great spot.

I will be going on a Tuesday as well, here's hoping for a not packed event!!

is it worth it to go I think so I love going and i am looking forward to going next year. there are charters that are out that re not out at other times of the year.

1 this is a yes and no question, some line for the charters are long ( an hour +) but some are not 10 to 20 minutes most rides are walk on or 10 minute wait ( most people like to see the charters that are not normally out)

2 the first parade it can be a little hard ( I would plane on finding a spot about 30 minute before) or you can watch the second parade and you should be fine if you find a spot 5 to 10 minutes before) the firer works are ( if you do not mind sitting a little off from the hub ) then you should be fine 10 to 15 minute before or if you do not mind not being infant of the castle then where ever you are as they have the 360 firer works so there really is not bad spot.

my favorite thing is the first thing in the parade so get there early it is really cool and goes by fast. I like the atmostfer of the night the candy is fun, and the charters are fun to meet. I just like it all.

1. We went to our first party in 2014 and I broke my toe right before the trip! I was worried about the crowds and my slower walking pace, but turned out not to be much of an issue. Main Street and Fantasyland were crowded but crowds thinned out fairly early. Beginning around 9:00, my kids and niece continuously rode Big Thunder with no line.
2. Frontierland was where we were last time for the parade and will find a spot next week for the 10-20 party.

Hallowishes is my favorite thing.
