MNSSHP Live Report...Delay! =0(

Hi all!

One of our Diser,Dr Tomorrow, is at the first MNSSHP of 2003 right now.We were scheduled to talk earlier,so he could let us in on EXACTLY what the spooky happenings are at the MK, but I haven't gotten a call so there must be some sort of technical difficulties.I'm thinking Dr.Tomorrow can't get a signal out on his cell phone since I haven't heard from him as of yet this evening.

I left a voicemail a few minutes ago.Hopefully ,have fingers crossed, we will get to talk tomorrow and I'll have an almost live

review of MNSSHP 2003!

Oh, no! We are leaving in a couple hours, and I really wanted to hear what time they were letting people in to MK. Does anyone know? We are goin to MNSSHP Sun., and I probably won't have access to the internet before then!

We arrived Friday night at 6:15 and were immediately let into the park. They routed us around to Tomorrowland while they emptied the park of all the day guests. We walked onto Space Mountain!!! I don't know how much earlier than that they were letting people in. We weren't asked to wait at all. We just went right on in. They had most rides up and running in Tomorrowland for partiers while we waited.

We then hopped on over to Liberty Square where we got our photo taken at the Hall of Presidents. There was alot of confusion. The CM's didn't really know what they were doing. I'm guessing since this was the first MNSSHP of the year, they were still figuring things out. They asked me to fill out a information card for each member of our party (there were 4 of us). I'm guessing that means I'm getting 4 pictures, though I'm not sure.

Then we walked onto Haunted Mansion with no wait! In the "round" room at the beginning there were only 10 of us in the room. We waited about 5 minutes for Dumbo with the kids. Walked right on into Philharmagic but then waited for about 5 minutes for the doors on the inside to open. It was FABULOUS!!!

One thing that was very croweded was the Cinderella's Stagecoach behind the castle. There was a very long line to get pics and many parents weren't in a hurry when there turn came up. Some would take multiple shots while everyone waited. We just decided to skip it altogether but then realized that the "backside" of the coach was free of people. There is a rope around the backside, but we just let our kids stand up to the rope and snapped a couple of shots. It was much better than waiting in line for 30 minutes to get a turn.

The night flew by and we didn't get to do everything we wanted to do, but we had a blast! I hope to go back next year!

I'm glad you had a good time! What about the fireworks? Did they show Wishes? Or was it a different show? We are going on the 14th and I'd love to hear all the details! Thanks for letting us know where the photo's are being taken, I was wondering about that!

I'm not sure if the fireworks were exactly the same as Wishes. They did not call them Wishes. But they were very different than any others I had ever seen. About half way through they launched several rounds that encircled the entire park. It was very magical!

There were several places to have pictures made. We chose to go over to Liberty Square because we thought it would be less crowded and was glad we did. I noticed they had picture stations set up at It's a Small World and at the Timekeeper (I think this is what is called....across from Extraterrorestrial Encounter). I know there were more, but they are clearly marked on the map.

Also, the headless horseman was SO COOL! Don't miss him.

I still haven't talked with Dr Tomorrow,but I have heard from a friend that works at EPCOT that alot of times cell phone signals get messed up while on WDW property.

It sounds like the fireworks are the ones that they do every year for the party.It is so cool the way some shoot off all around the park!

It sounds like the picture spots are in the same place as usual .We've always had the best luck with HoP location at the beginning of the night too.

I'm NOT SURPRISED that there was a bit of confusion going on with it being the first MNSSHP of the year last night.It might still be that way tomorrow night too,it does take a few times to get the bugs worked out.I'm sure by next week Disney will have things running smoothly!
