***MNSSHP! Let's get excited together!***

We will be there 10/15-10/23 -- We are thinking about going to MNSSHP on October 19th -- Does anyone know what time you can enter the park and start riding the rides? Or are you not allowed in until 7:00? :woohoo:

They start letting party guests in at 4pm, the party actually starts at 7pm. Anyone without a MNSSHP wristband will need to leave the park. You can ride rides whenever you want to...nothing shuts down. Don't know if do character meet & greets but if you plan to meet Snow White with all 7 Dwarfs (which you can only do during the Halloween party) I recommend getting there around 5pm and getting in line. They come out once every half hour starting at either 7 or 7:30 and the line will be 2 hours long by the time the party officially starts at 7pm.

Yes, you can (eventually) buy the tickets online. It usually takes longer for them to show up online though. Sometimes weeks later.

If you order them online, you can print your confirmation and bring that with you to any ticket counter or your hotel concierge to pick up your hard tickets. They will charge a fee to send you the hard tickets in the mail.

Last year, I ordered tickets for two dates. I ordered both sets over the phone. The first time, the CM did not tell me she was charging me for shipping...she sent them via either FedEx or UPS, I don't remember which...but it cost me $10. When I ordered the 2nd pair, the CM said "Did you ASK for the first ones to go out via _____?" I said no...she said "OK well I can send them out via regular mail if you want and there is no charge"...I told her that would be fine...she then also refunded me the $10 shipping charge from the first order. I thought that was really nice of her. I don't know if it was something she was supposed to do, but I appreciated it.

Does anybody know if the tickets you get in the park at guest services are a hard plastic ticket like a KTTW or are they paper? Thanks!

The tickets we got at the park were the paper single day admission type. Last year I forgot to get my tickets at the park so I got them thru the hotel lobby and those are just like the KTTW cards.

Not sure about GS at the park but, at our hotel, we were given plastic tickets similar to KTTW. A nice keepsake since it said Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and the date on them!

That's good to know. And very nice of her to refund you the $10! Gotta love the pixie dust!
I didn't remember that I had an option when I purchased mine online. I only remember seeing that they'd charge for delivery. And since I bought mine in May and the party was in September, I really didn't see the need to pay to have them early...

Definitely try ordering them over the phone and if the CM doesn't ask you about shipping, bring it up. They may not advertise the free shipping.

Ticket delivery is NOT free. It was $3 for many years but I believe it went up to $4 last year.

Now if you want to avoid shipping charges you can pick up the tickets at Will call. :thumbsup2

Which is what we will do. We're not in a hurry to have our hard tickets right away. Picking them up at the hotel concierge was super quick and easy! I'd honestly suggest that to anyone.

Now... bring on the official dates! :woohoo: before I run out of planning money! Last night I purchased tickets to Spirit of Aloha as a surprise for DBF! Now I just need to keep the surprise to myself until we get there...

I definitely was NOT charged last year...the tix were sent to me via regular mail. Again, I don't know if I just got lucky but I know for a fact they shipped for free

ETA: I apologize if I came across as snooty! LOL I just reread my post and realized it could be taken that way. I was just posting my experience in case it could help someone else avoid a shipping charge :)

Good for you. :thumbsup2

But you just got lucky. :goodvibes Probably she felt bad since they charged you $10 the first time....

There is a fee for shipping tickets...It's $4.

Just couldn't help but say, "BOO to all of you!" this afternoon!

I have a LONG wait...why am I excited now? :confused3
I lurve that smiley too.

You're probably right LOL I was considering picking them up for this year anyway just so I have one less thing to worry about packing! Not only did I lose a set last year and have to have them replaced, but we were 20 minutes from home on departure day when I realized I had left the party tickets home:sad2:

I'm definitely a good candidate for "will call" LOL

In the spirit of the PP who boo'd us today, I would like to say happy hallowishes everyone! :yay:

I realize that we take CM info with a grain of salt but, I thought I mention it anyway...
I had to call and make an ADR change and she mentioned the tickets for MNSSHP should go on sale April 28th or 29th. Just putting it out there. Either way it won't be much longer.

im so excited it will be DS first trip and ive been to disney hundreds of time but this will be my first time going this time of year and to mnsshp. we will be there oct 7-10 cause im in college and thats my fall break! im sure ill need it!

I am in full panic mode now, the MK schedule has changed and it appears the first party won't be until the 14th. Not so sure we are going to be able to go. We were trying to make it a cheap trip but my 2 yo will turn 3 before we can go if they don't change the dates back. We won't be able to stay at the Poly and we will have to pay for her tickets and food. I could cry ; ( Someone please tell me Disney is just messing with my mind and they will change the calander again?

I am soooo hoping this calander change is a big whoops-I need the party to be on the 17th not the 18th-we leave on the 18th
