If I asked someone to pick me up a LE magicband prior to our trip but during their trip, can they do that? Or when they buy it, it'll be programmed to their MDE and wouldn't work on mine? TIA!

I think they can do that so long as they tell the CM that it is being purchased for someone else and not to link it to their account.

You need to have the CM set it up as 'Link-It Later'.

Yes I have done this when I go my friend a MB to replace one she lost. Just let the CM know you would like to link it latter
