any advice on getting place (or what would be the best place) to watch the MNSSHP fireworks?

I've always liked the front of the castle and there are 'things' that shine on the castle but this year lots of the fireworks were not visible from the front. It might be that I was just too close to the castle or they were shot a little low.

I'd say stand in front of the castle but a bit further back then RIGHT in front of it so you can see those fireworks shot from behind it. Maybe at the start of Main Street on the other side of the hub.

The first night, I saw too close.

The next night I stayed back a little more, like around the where the circle goes around in front of the castle. That was a better view.

Some people say the bridge to Tomorrowland. I never made it over there, it was too crowded. Also, as soon as the fireworks were over, I got a different position right on the street for the 10:00 pm parade and waited for that to start. I didn't want to lose my spot. I was alone and had sent my DH and DS back to the hotel since DS is afraid of fireworks. Have fun,

don't want to waste valuable MNSSHP time with camping out for an hour for the fireworks. Any and all advice GREATLY appreciated!

I went from Liberty Square at 9:00p to the front of the castle by 9:05p by way of Tomorrowland because they blocked off the whole castle area. I ran the whole way and it was tough because it was crowded but I got a spot right in front of the castle.

I always get there at the last minute for fireworks...the parade, on the other hand, is another story. I like having a curb seat for that so I would get there at least a half hour early for that.
