MNSSHP historcial day of the week ??s

Hello,
I am trying to plan our trip from 2-9 Sep, 2015..
I am hoping the MNSSHP dates are announced before our 180+ 10 ADR dates, but I dont see this happening.. I am worried about making some hard to get ADR and then having to decide later either that or the MNSSHP.. As switching ADRs will become harder later.


Arent the parties usually announced in May?

Anyways so I was thinking.. Historically ( last sept) the parties were only on Tues, Fri, and Suns) Labor Day (Mon. 9/1 was an exception).

Has anyone an idea if this was always so? are there some days of the week parties are never on?

In October 2014 I noticed they were more spread out and often.. some thurs added.

I didnt see any Mons or Wens....

any comments here??

You can look at the MK schedule (posted 6.5 months in advance) and see which nights MK closes at 7PM. That will be a good indication of the nights to expect a hard ticket party.

Same can be said if you want to look back at the historical hours (below) of past years to get an idea of a "pattern" of parties.

Other than Columbus Day or Labor Day (and I think last year was the first time they had one as early as Labor Day), I wouldn't expect to see one on Monday. I can't recall ever seeing one on Wednesday, and while I would normally say never on Saturday, since Halloween falls on Saturday this year, I would assume they are going to have one that day.

You can look at the MK schedule (posted 6.5 months in advance) and see which nights MK closes at 7PM. That will be a good indication of the nights to expect a hard ticket party.

There will be two days in September when MK closes at 7PM for Night of Joy, but that's supposed to be Sept 11-12 this year, which is after your dates.

Last year was the first time they had a party earlier than September 10. I could maybe see them having one on Labor Day, but like you said, it's a late Labor Day this year. Also, although they did have one on Labor Day, they didn't have the next one until 8 days later. I would honestly be surprised to see one before Labor Day, that just seems too early to me.

Go back to the hours on a previous year when 10/30 was on Friday and check.

The best predictor of what MIGHT happen in upcoming years... is what happened in recent previous years.

IIRC there are usually parties on Fridays anyway.
