MNSSHP - Help! What do I do now?

So I caved and bought tickets for MNSSHP tonight. And I was able to get a reservation for Crystal Palace for 4:30 pm.

We're not using a park ticket that day - just the MNSSHP tickets. Disney Dining lady said that was fine and we'd be able to get in.

DH asked me to call back and verify with Reservations.

Guy I spoke to told me flat out I would not be able to get into the park until 7PM.

But here on the DIS I've been reading that we'll be able to get in at 4/4:30...

What do I do now? Why do I always get so much conflicting information from Disney people?

What kind of park ticket will you have that day? If you have a park hopper, you can get in at any time no problem. Then when they start giving out wristbands you show your MNSSHP ticket.

If you have a base ticket (one park per day) and you've chosen a different park to go to that day, I don't know what time you'd be allowed into the MK at.

I forgot to include that in my post. We're not using a park ticket that day - just the MNSSHP. Going back to add that in...

They have let people in at 4:30 or so for the past few years. People will soon post about their experiences with the 1st party tonight so you will know for sure. I think you will be let in early- just wait for the reports from tonight's party-goers.

I have found many many times that the information here on the DIS is far more reliable than any CM on the other end of a phone.

I entered the MK with only a MNSSHP ticket at 4pm last year. If everyone had to wait till exactly 7pm the line up would be horrible and Disney would have some very unhappy people on their hands.

Last year they did make people who got to the gate after 6pm wait till 7pm, but with the new method of park clearing (or lack there of) I doubt this will be the case this year.

At any rate, the first party is going on right now and you can bet you will see many reports on the DIS soon.

Remember CM's must read and speak from policy when it comes from places like CRO when it comes to tickets and times.Some are also just misinformed from the beginning.

People here on the DIS talk of real WORLD and what has happened in the past but that also can change. The worse is they don't let you in and you have to try to get into one of the resorts close to the park for a bite or just wait if it is a hard 7:00 time .

Either way you will be going to what I consider the best Hardticket event at WDW.
