MNSSHP FP+ Priority?

I've just purchased a ticket for MNSSHP on 9/23 and need to book FP for 4:00-6:00. Right now I have:
Buzz Lightyear 3:10-4:10
Splash Mountain 4:15-5:15
Jungle Cruise 5:20-6:00

What do y'all think? Will I be able to make a 4:10 FP if entering on a party ticket? Are there better choices? 7DMT, Peter Pan and Big Thunder aren't available. I'll be keeping the Jungle Cruise FP since this will be my only visit to the MK this trip and it's not open during the party. I don't want to ride Space Mt so no FP needed for that one.

As I remember the lines to get into MK don't seem to be too bad with party tickets. But you'll probably have to be in line before 4:00 and hurry off to Buzz. I've never used a fastpass for it.

There is a 15 minute grace period at the end of your FP window, so you shouldn't have a problem making it to Buzz by 4:25

Thanks! I can replace Buzz with Haunted Mansion but kind of wanted to ride that during the party. How are the lines for HM then?

If you've got these selections locked in I'd say you've nailed it! I agree you want to be amongst the first let in at 4pm so you don't have to sprint to your Buzz FP. If you're a Carousel of Progress fan (also closed during the party) you may even be able to squeeze that in right after Buzz and still make it to your Splash FP. As for PP and BTM, we were at the 8/28 party and found both to be walk-ons once the party entertainment started, so depending on your plan for the evening you should be able to ride those without much wait.

As for HM wait times, I recall this took a bit longer to reach walk-on status. I think it peaked earlier in the evening at about 45 minutes, but by 10pm had no wait. If you catch the parade near Liberty Square Market, afterwards you could easily just turn around and walk right in to HM before the crowds catch up with you.

One thing to think about with Splash is whether you are wearing a costume and how it will do with water. DD usually refuses to get on Splash during MNSSHP because she does not want her costume getting wet. Splash typically is walk on during the parties. I would keep trying to switch them out for Peter Pan or 7DMT-maybe one will come up. I might go ahead and do that Haunted Mansion one-- you can always ride it again if the line is not too long during the party. We love to hang out outside HM and listen to Carlotta tell stories (and Renatta- but we really love Carlotta). That line can be really long during the parties -we've seen it at 45 minutes or an hour more than once. Towards the end of the night, it does get a lot shorter.

Thanks everyone for the tips! I'll be solo and not dressed up. I really wasn't supposed to go to Disney at all this trip but I couldn't resist! I have an ADR for the HalloWishes dessert party just to make the most of the night

As others have said, as long as you are there right at 4, you should be good. Don't forget the time to get through security whether monorail, bus or at the gate.
With a 15 minute grace period for the FPs, you should have plenty of time.

We went to the 9/3 party and Buzz and Splash were walk ons, so you may not want to use a FP for those. HM, Pirates and Peter Pan were typically 20-30 minutes waits during the party and 7DMT was ~40minutes. I've heard reports of much longer waits than we had, maybe we just got lucky.
I'd say book what you really want to do or things not open at the party and then at the party fill in the others.

With a 15-minute grace period, you will be fine getting to the Buzz FP+. You will be walking through the bypass, which puts you right by Tomorrowland Terrace, so you can cut through there to get to Buzz. Much faster than walking up Main St. Do you want to ride BTMRR? If so, is there anything else in Tomorrowland or Adventureland that you want to ride that you can FP+? Speedway or PoTC? The only reason I ask is, Splash was a walk-on when we went and I, personally, would rather consolidate Splash and BTMRR than walk to Splash, then to JC and then walk back to Frontierland for BTMRR.

Not suppose to be allowed to make FP+ reservations with a party ticket. I deleted our MNSSHP FP+ reservations so that I didn't have to worry about FP+ reservations later in the trip remained. Good luck!

We went to party last Friday night, also had admission into MK on our hopper pass so arrived around noon. I dont know if this is normal, but many of the rides were walk on in the range of 4 pm or so. Buzz definitely was, so was Haunted Mansion and Pirates. We rode BTMRR around 6 pm, it was walk on, The CMs told those who rode and wanted to stay on and ride again to do so, that was fine! We then walked into Fantasyland and of course there was a wait for Peter Pan and 7 DMT, although both waits were much shorter than normal, 20 and 40 minutes respectively. We have done both enough that we didn’t bother, it was time to go get candy!

If you're using a party ticket you may end up with the email that I received...I think others have slipped through the loop but it seems like Disney is checking up on this more. I did the same thing you did...had two fast passes between four and six. When I received my email from Disney I immediately deleted them from my MNSSHP day and all my other FP+ passes are still intact for the following days. Just a heads up!

Thanks! Since the party will be my only visit to WDW this trip I don’t have any other FPs to worry about. If these get cancelled they get cancelled.

Is this policy new? I have always made FP+ within the 4 to 6pm time frame when attending a party. I guess ill wait for the email

Technically you shouldn't be able to because it's not an actual park ticket but for the most part does work. I received an email a month after booking that I had to cancel ours for that day or they would delete our last day of tickets, we have 6 day tickets and the party ticket would make it "7". I however waited a couple weeks and tried again and so far have been fine. Also it appears the last FP ends at 5:30 not 6. I haven't had issues in years past until this year. We arrive on the 22nd so once all this computer stuff gets cleared up I will see if they are still there.
