MNSSHP- Firework & Parade Viewing Spots??

We're going to MNSSHP for the first time on Aug 20th. I was wondering if anyone who went last year can give me some tips or advice? What parade should we see? Where is a good spot to watch the parade? When is the best time to visit the "special" characters? When should we get ready to see the fireworks? Thanks for your help!

The fireworks are best watched from around the Casey's Corner area of Main Street. The parade is best watched on the route along the back side of the castle (Frontierland) because that is where the parade enters the park. It takes about 15-20 mins to reach Main Street so since you get to see it first, you can go back to rides and trick or treating while others are watching the parade. Stake out about 30 mins to an hour ahead of time for the parade spot and an hour for fireworks.

Lots of great places to watch the parade. We generally watch the second parade, and the second stage show. The third stage show is usually even less crowded. The first parade and stage show usually are the most crowded.
NObody know for sure the best place to see the fireworks as it will be a new show. Most likely similar viewing as for HEA. i expect more projection of the castle than the previous show.
