MNSSHP effect on crowds for Illuminations

Is it safe to assume that Illuminations won't be very crowded because of MNSSHP?

The reason I ask is because currently have an Illum. cruise booked for a night that MNSSHP is going on. If we have a chance at getting a good viewing spot for it w/out having to stake out a spot an hour early then I will just cancel the cruise.

Hope this makes sense. It's still early for me .

Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated.

From what I've read on the DIS the effects of MNSSHP are minimal on the attendance levels at the other parks. If that is true, it probably won't have much affect on Illuminations.
