MNSSHP DVC ticket pick up

I bought MNSSHP tickets with the DVC discount and they are showing on the app, but it also says that I need to show membership ID to pick up the tickets. Do I still need to pick up tickets at ticket counter or can I enter the park directly with our Magic bands?

We stopped at GS a week ago just to make sure, but no activation or ID required. Just scan as normal- we too thought we needed to show proof of status.
