MNSSHP DVC discount ticket pricing

We have an upcoming stay at Saratoga Springs using my moms DVC points. She will not be traveling with us. I read that DVC members can get a discount on MNSSHP tickets - can she purchase tickets for us with the discounted rate?

I am guessing the answer will be no as you generally have to show your DVC member card and photo ID to pick up the tickets.

I had a feeling too. Was going to see if she could give me her DVC card but they might cross-check photo ID. Bummer

Do you have an annual pass? The DVC price is the same as annual passholder. The discount is only $4 off the advance purchase price ($70 vs $74 plus tax).

I bought tickets using my DVC discount a few weeks ago online-I got conflicting info when I placed the order (saying the tickets would be delivered to my house by 9/11 but then at the bottom saying they would be held at will call for pick up with a valid DVC member ID) so I wasn't sure what to expect-I did add them to our magic bands and since our party is in the middle of our trip I wasn't too concerned. However the plastic rfid tickets were in fact delivered in the mail a week or so after I placed the order online. So it is possible you could luck out and get activated tickets in the mail but for such a small discount (only a few bucks a ticket) I don't think I'd take that chance
