Anyone have any suggestions for our dinner the night of MNSSHP....it will be a friday and it will also be our last dinner @ WDW....Part of me was thinking either Chef Mickeys or Cape May Clam bake?

Whatever you decide, my advice would be NOT to waste your party time eating. Make sure your ADR is early enough that you can get to the MK quite a while before the party opens. Are you aware you can get in as early as 4? I would try to get in before the 7p party crowd arrives.

Yea I was thinking about doing 5 or 5:30.....Im going to try to do Lecellier lunch as early as possible that day!

we had a four thirty reservation at Crystal Palace the night of the party and I am glad that we were already in that park......the crowds getting out of MK and coming in for the party were unbelievable...

try to stay close to that park if you can...that is if you want to enjoy the whole party atmosphere.

We did a 4:00 at Liberty Tree Tavern. Service was fast and we let out very close to Haunted Mansion with no wait.

This is exactly what I was going to say. We have a heavy or TS lunch and then just do CS during the party so as not to waste valuable party time eating. We always arrive at 4PM to avoid the heavy crowds at the gates.

Last year when we did the Pirate & Princess Party I did a 5pm at Kona Cafe, it was great b/c we are so close to MK, quick on the monorail.
This year we are doing MNSSHP and decided to just grab a CS at our resort, CBR before we leave for MK for the party. Defiantely don;t want to waste party time;)

Exactly...make your large meal that day lunch, even if you do it a bit later, and then just snack during the party. There is so much to see and do at the party, don't waste party time with dinner.

Hmmm soooo Chef Mickeys or CRT Is definitely out then? I just thought that it would be a neat way to end our trip and get into the party mood with characters.......Ill have to think this over, Thank you all for your advice! I really appreciate it!

I usually do Cs on party nights. But if i were to do TS I would do a late lunch (like 3pm) and head over at 4pm when they start to let party guests in.Eating during the party wastes alot of time.

We usually eat a larger and very early lunch on our party day and then just get CS on the fly during the party. We found that getting to MK around 4pm maximizes our enjoyment of the festivities.

We ate at The Wave at the Contemporary and then walked to the party. It was close, the food is good and we were at the party in 10 minutes! We had reservations at 5:30 and were at the party before 7.

eat BEFORE you go to the party and I would get there at least by 5, so plan an early dinner there is too much to do in such a short time at MNSSHP

We ate at Ohana on our last MNSSHP night, and I would never do it again (loved the food don't get me wrong) since it took so much time. This next trip in Sept we are going to eat our TS for late breakfast and then eat C/S for Dinner. That way we can get as much time as possible in the park during the party. Have fun no matter what you decide.:cool1:

We did 4:15 at Chef Mickey's on Halloween 2008 and then went right into the party. It was great!

Usually we have done an early dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern - but now that it is no longer a character meal, I will have to find something else. I like the idea of using a TS credit for a big, late breakfast and then doing CS during the party.

We haven't been to MNSSHP for 2 years and I miss it! I cannot wait!!!

We had a 4:30 ADR at Crystal Palace and it worked out GREAT! We were out in plenty of time before the party actually started, and even hit a few rides before.
