MNSSHP costume idea for boy...help!

I'm really struggling to find a costume that will work for my son. He is 7 years old, about a size 10/12, and is very warm blooded (like his daddy.) All the costumes he likes are full head-to-toe suits, like Mr. Incredible, Buzz, etc, and I just know he will be very uncomfortable in the October heat at MK when we go to MNSSHP. A costume with shorts would be great, or at least just a t-shirt. ANY suggestions for my guy? Thanks!

How about a pirate? I would think 7 yr old would like this with Pirates of Caribbean.

When my nephews went one year, the oldest was Sorcerer Mickey (home made red coat, then bought the gloves & hat @ WDW), the middle one was Buzz Lightyear and the youngest was Mickey (bought this costume from Disney back when the oldest was little. They were all comfy in their costumes. Some other suggestions would be:

Pirate (from Pirates of the Caribbean)
Peter Pan
Aladdin
Captain Hook
Green Army Man
Tarzan
Mad Hatter
Robin Hood

We went last year in Oct. and I still can not get over the heat/humidity. DD was Snow White and DS was a dwarf. We took shorts and a tee for both to change into after a few pics and getting some treats. When we look at the pics, DD looks like she just came from a shower her hair is so wet. My nephew was Woody and wore jean shorts, plain white tee, hat and a bandana around his neck. I would say it was about 60/40 of dressed up/not.

I have no suggestions, but you really need a costume that is versitile for all types of weather. We were at the MNSSHP last year right after Wilma and wore sweatshirts and jeans the whole time - it was quite chilly that day.
