MNSSHP Costume Help

Okay, I think I've finally decided on a costume for MNSSHP - Annette Funicello from the Mickey Mouse Club. Now I'm trying to figure out what I'll need to pull it together. At first I was thinking a poodle skirt, but in looking at a few pictures online, it looks like Annette actually wore a pleated skirt. Trouble is, with Black & White photos, I don't know what color it was. It doesn't look dark enough to be a black skirt. I found one color picture where you could just see the top of her skirt (it was mainly a shot of her upper body) and it looked like it may have been blue. So, does anyone know what color her skirt actually was? And I'm thinking white shirt (short sleeve, mock neck) with "ANNETTE" in black letters, along with white keds and bobby socks, and, of course, mouse ears.

Shannon, I don't know because the show was in b&w way back then. I think you will be fine with your outfit as planned. How many people even remember what kind of skirt she wore? See you at the party!
