MNSSHP costume help - Yzma hair?!?

Hi there! My husband and I have decided to go as Kuzco and Yzma to the MNSSHP on Oct 6, we have everything, but I cannot for the life of me figure out what to do for Yzma's crazy Purple hair!
I'm going as her with the black dress doing the dinner when she tries to poison Kuzco...
Any one have any idea what would work?

She doesn't have hair! She's totally bald!

For the hat, you could buy some sturdy wire and wrap fabric around it. I don't really remember what the hair/hat looked like in that particular scene - but I remember her hats as being really tall. So I think the wire with the fabirc - or maribou feathers - would be neat.

I think that purple curled thing is supposed to be a feather. I thought the black was her hair. Either way---I would get a roll of the wide ribbon with wire in it, and attach it to purple felt cut to the right shape and size. (or craft foam) The ribbon would add the support it would need and not be a pain to work with. You could starch (craft store) the fabric into that shape, too, but would be more work.
