Hi all!

My fiance and I are heading down in 5 weeks for our honeymoon. It will be our third trip within the last year and a half, but we will be attending MNSSHP for the first time.

Our main plan is to meet characters early (we will be in MK before the party starts using one day of our regular tickets) and then watch Ctm, Wishes, the parade, and Hocus Pocus later in the evenig. So tips on when to line up and such would be great! We are also mainly wanting to meet characters who are rare to find outside of the party, but also meet ones who do signatures since we "collect" those. Based on those criteria, who would your top 3 character meets be in your opinion.

Thanks!!!:worship:

Line up as early as they'll let you for Dwarves or Jack + Sally. Those lines get long quick.

Definitely. I've heard that on the 2nd they came out early and started meeting before the party even began. Would love to have their meet and greet done without taking up too much party time! Thanks!

We were in line for Jack and Sally at 530 and I believe they had been out since 5. Even in line before the party, we still waited an hour and a half to meet them.

The Dwarves don't sign. We lined up at 5:45pm for them during our last party. They came out at 6:55pm and we were finished by 7:15pm. We didn't waste much party time which was good.

For Jack and Sally, get in line as early as possible. As others have said, they often start meeting before the party has even started. If you can, enter MK by 4pm. Go straight to Jack and Sallys line. You might be able to meet them before 6pm. If so, head straight to the Dwarves line and wait.

Try and meet Tarzan, Jane and Terk late. Earlier in the party they usually meet separately (Jane and Turk, then Tarzan and Terk.) however later in the evening (after 11:15pm) the three often meet together.

You can also try and meet Aladdin, Jasmine, Abu and Genie this way. Later in the evening and you might be lucky enough to get a group shot.

You can get a cute shot with the Hundred Acre Wood Gang together. Line up at least 20 minutes before their set and you should be the first ones in line.

Other rare characters include Lots-o-Huggin' Bear in Tomorrowland, Alice/Mad Hatter/Queen of Hearts in Fantasyland, Cruella De Vil in Storybook Circus.

My top three would be Dwarves, Jack and Sally and Tarzan, Jane and Terk.

I will definitely incorporate these tips into our evening! I think we will line up at 4:30ish for Jack and Sally. After then, I think we will go meet Queen of Hearts and the Tweedles (probably will skip Alice and Hatter bc we have 1900 Park Fare ADRs another day for bfast). Then swing by Big Top Souvenirs and grab pins, get some food somewhere, and see if Cruella's line is a little shorter (should be around parade time). We will then see HP, CtM, Wishes, and parade then try to squeeze in Aladdin's and Tarzan's groups! Thanks for your help!

So be clear, you got in line at 5:30 waited an hour and a half, and met them at 7ish? That would be great to me. As long as we are done with them by 7 or 730, I'm fine!

We got in line for Jack and Sally around 4:30 last year and were through the line by 5:50.

Just to be clear though, that one M&G is the only party one that actually starts well before the party. People will line up for the Dwarfs quite early, but they don't come out until a few minutes before the party starts. Queen of Hearts/Tweedles, Pooh and the gang, etc. won't appear until 7.

Your scenario is the exact one I'm hoping for! So glad that they come out early. I was thinking they would probably be the only ones out so early based on what I had read, but thank you for confirming!

If I'm understanding you correctly, you will be inside the park during the day (before 4pm) with a regular ticket? Remember that you will need your wristband to get in line for the MNSSHP characters. If you are already in the park you can get your wristband near the exit to Monster Inc at Tomorrowland, at Tortuga Tavern in Adventureland and Fantasy Faire in Fantasyland, there will be CM there scanning mb and putting wristbands on so you don't have to exit the park and re-enter
We did the party 2 years ago and entered the park at 4pm and went straight to the Jack and Sally meet, were they came out around 6:15pm we were second in line. After we went to the Jane,Tarzan and Terk, they came out together first thing and we were done with them at 7:05pm.

Character lines are longest in the middle of the party, even with the shows and parades. Just like everyone has said, get in line early for popular ones and then late for other ones! In the middle when character lines are so stinking long my family likes to go on a ride or two, as wait times are usually significantly lower during parties.

Another thing to plan into your character times is time to line up for the parade, wishes, and hocus pocus, as you still need to get there a little early to get spots where you can see.

You are correct! I knew there were spots in the park to get wristbands, but not the exact locations so thanks so much for the info on that!!! We will probably get ours at Tortuga Tavern and then head over to the gazebo!

Definitely! I plan on finding us a spot for wishes pretty early. Then hang out until the parade starts. And I plan on doing a last sweep for some characters, would after the second parade be too late? I figure if it starts at 11:15 it wouldn't be done until around 11:45.
