Is it true that Disney is canceling MNSSHP for future years?

That's got to be a rumor. When we attended, they were getting people's email addresses to answer a survey about their experience. I doubt Disney would have cared if I enjoyed it or not if they were going to cancel it altogether.

A friend of mine who goes to Disney twice or 3 times a year says it's gone starting next year. I was pretty surprised too as it seems to be a decent money maker for Disney.

No way. I would be extremely suprised, considering it's a seperately ticketed event and Disney is making a LOT of extra cash from this little deal.

Considering we went last week and there were thousands of people there (that had all paid the extra weekend ticket price as well), I would doubt that Disney would be doing away with the event.

At most I could see them having less events if the negative response to the number of nights the MK is closed early were to be huge. There is no way they would just do away with something that makes them so much extra money.

It's a really popular event. It's also the only after hours event DH and I will go to. In fact, I'm listening to the music from it now since we didn't get to go this year. We did the MVMCP once and didn't like it. We actually found the Christmas Party boring.

The only reason I could think they would cancel it would be if Fantasyland expansion made a huge mess of MK and they couldn't do the event at MK.

I think Disney makes a good amount of money on the hard ticket events or they wouldn't continue them. The princess and pirate one was cancelled but I also heard that it wasn't as popular as MNSSHP.

I don't believe it. The party makes them too much money. The most they'll do is just raise the price, or cut staffing, or cut back on the number of parties per year.

I go a good bit more than 3 times a year and I have not heard this one.

LOVED the Pirate and Princess Party!! Loved the Nightastic fireworks that were actually there this summer. Best fireworks ever!

Why did they quit holding Pirate and Princess Parties? We went to the very last one and loved it! It was alot of fun and seamed full.

Oh gosh!! I hope not!! We are going for the week of Halloween next year and my kids are soooo excited about the MNSSHP. We have never been. That is the reason we chose to go that week.

Loved the Pirate and Princessess Party, one of the best party we went. No lines, great dance party and wonderful parade. We enjoyed the Halloween party and I don't think they would cancel it unless it gets low attendance like the PPP.
