Hi

We're planning to go to MNSSHP but would like to leave the decision which night to go until we're there. Having 2 young girls I really want to see how they cope with the parks etc so their stamina will dictate when we go.

I've planned in my mind a certain date with plans to visit a different resort for a leisurely lunch - (thinking AKL) and then nap/laze around back at our resort for the rest of the day so we're ready for the late night.

A) Do you think there will be tickets left. We're thinking mid week very early October so it's not a peak time.

B) Can we just buy these from reception or do we buy them from MK?

I know you save a bit of money buying in advance but i'm worried we end up going on a night when the girls are shattered so then it's money wasted

You should be OK buying them there. You can buy them at any guest relations. At parks, DTD or in resorts.

we purchased christmas party tickets once we got there no problem so i'm sure it will be the same for the halloween party

I think most of them don't sell out in advance, Halloween I know usually does but early October i'm sure you'll be fine :)

We bought our tickets there - i don't think there was much of a discount to purchase before if i remember rightly. I like to buy evening event tickets when i get there as i like to check the weather reports and make sure, if possible, we don't end up on a night where rain is forecast. We purchased ours from MGM (as was then 2006) on our first day from, i think, either guest relations or just the normal ticket booth....it was prob guest relations come to think of it as we already had our admission ticket to the park. you can always ask a CM when you arrive at the park. and none of the nights were sold out but we didn't want to do halloween night as we wanted to do downtown disney which was amazing - we didn't have kids at the time (but do now!) All the children at ddd were dressed up, there was story time from a witch, a stage show where they got the kids up dancing, and loads of trick or treating in the stores (loads of candy).....and all for free..if you can get your kids back out of the store without buying anything ;). we really enjoyed it and it made us really broody....hence now have DD :rotfl:
