MNSSHP- Big PROBLEM- Just back..

WE just returned from WDW-Allstars last week. Had a great time. WE did have one problem, Made reservation for this trip back in Aug, this is our third trip to WDW this year.. Three weeks before we left, we received some info on Mickeys Not So Scary Haloweeen Party- This being our last trip for a long time we decided to go to it. I called reservation, this is were the trouble starts. The person I talked to at reservation has never heard of MNSSHP, I had to explane to them what this is all about. I ask for a manger, she was some what helpful. WE made reservation for MNSSHP,also gave me a reservation number. I called back to comform my reservation one week before we left they said, yes we have your reservation for MNSSHP, also was told to pick up tickets at ticket window outside Magic Kingdom. FASTFOWARD- WE arrive at M.K. the day of MNSSHP in Full Haloween costume, my ten year old was very excited to get to trick or treat at M.K. . I went to ticket window and asked for my Tickets to MNSSHP, I was completely SHOCKED when the said I have no reservation for this, I gave them our rerservation Number, they said I have reservation for a Character meal in Liberty tree tavern thats all, no MNSSHP reservation. THey said reservation made a mistake, I was mad.. This was a short trip for us, not having a lot of extra money to spend, we had to decide to go to MNSSHP or Liberty tree Tavern Character meal. WE canceled the Character meal, never made reservation for, and went to MNSSHP. It was a lot of fun but was overshowed by the reservation mastake.. Not happy with Disney reservation people, no disney magic here.... WE are also A.P. holders so spend lot of time and Money here. It did not ruin our trip, just caused lots of problems.. WAKE UP DISNEY........

Wow, what a messup. Good thing it wasn't a night when they were sold out!

Did they ask you for a credit card #? For tickets, they would. You don't make a reservation for MNSSHP, you buy tickets. Maybe that is what confused them.

Good point DebbieB. I bought mine over the phone and you pay for them with your CC. When you just make "reservations" for resturaunts, CM and such, all you get is a confirmation number. Sorry to hear you had the problems, but glad you were able to expeirience MNSSHP!

Then it sounds like Reservations messed up here, because you pay for the tickets in advance when you buy them over the phone. Sorry this happened but it seemed to work out.

OUCH! i am always very careful when i call reservations. one time, about 3 weeks before my vacation, i called to make a reservation for something, i forget what. and they asked for my room reservation information at POR. well i didnt have the number one me, so gave them a phone # which always works. it took them 15 min to find it. the CM swore up and down i had no reservation (which i had booked months before). she checked it by every way possible. finally, they found it, but boy did they put me in a panic.

they do seem a little disorganized and untrained over there. thanks for the info though.

Wait, let me get this right. You called for a reservation to MNSSHP. When you went to get in, they realized an error. They corrected the error. And this was a BIG problem ... how?

Also with the thousands of resservations that they take and I mean Disney and we only hear about a couple of mistakes that take place and are usually straightened out, I personally think they are doing a great job.

I am glad that it was resolved.
I have not beeen to the MNSSP but ordered tickets from Disney for the MVMCP twice in the past and I have not used the general reservation line # . For your next trip perhaps you might want to order them on line and they will hold them for you as a will call or they can mail them to you for $3.00 per order.
