I am planning my Sept trip, and want to plan around MNSSHP nights. When looking at Touring Plans site, it shows shorter hours (closing at 7pm) on Friday 9/12, Sunday 9/14, (and every Tues, Fri and Sun during September)

We are doing a CR/BC split stay. Id prefer to stay CR first on 9/12-15, and have the ability to walk back from MK after MNSSHP. Is it safe to guess that Touring Plans website is correct in guessing those early closing dates are party nights? Has the party historically been on Tues, Fri and Sun in September?

I'm hoping someone can help me with this. Thanks!

Disney has released the Sept. calendar, and other than the 5th and 6th being for NOJ, the other 7pm closures should be for MNSSHP.

Officially, late April/early May. The Sept and Oct hours have been released, so we can already see the dates, though.

Where do you see the October hours. I looked on the Disney site and only see hours released out to Sept. 24th.

Thank you for answering!!
Yes, but the dessert party will not open up until the party dates are 'officially' released.
plan on going Sept 9th! first time going to MNSSHP!!!

1st time ? you will have a blast ! planning on that date too, first time DH will be going :cool1:

Can you use your tickets to get fast passes for the 4-7 time period? If not, how about later in the evening for the parade or fireworks? Thanks.

I'm hoping that's true! My BF and I are coming down Sep 14th - I'm really really really hoping I can add a day (Sep 13) so that we can go to the party that Sunday!! I wasn't planning on it, but I feel like we may never get the chance to again. :)

Legacy FP was never available during parties FP+ probably won't be an option either If you only have a ticket for the party technically it starts at 7 traditionally ( and no real reason to think it won't still be true ) as a courtesy they let party goers in beginning at 4 If rides are your thing many are walk ons during the party especially during the parades you won't need FP

Just reading through and saw this and wanted to make sure you were aware the dessert party has not typically been held on nights with MNSSHP.

Oh i totally understand this. I am looking at a different date then the Party.. BUT they are not releasing the Dessert party dates until MNSSHP dates are released. Pain when your supposed to be able to book the Dessert party 180 out, can't because the Halloween party isn't Officially out.. :crazy2:

My BF hates me for changing our schedule around so many times haha- but I added another day so that we can attend MNSSHP!!!! Hoping for Sunday 9-13!!

Can someone please explain to me what makes MNSSHP special? I am trying to decide if it is worth the extra money for me and the kids who will be 10 and 8. We are from Australia,so I am not planning on bringing costumes with us in our luggage- lol!
