We are attending the party on Tuesday September 13 2016. It we stay and watch the final show at 12:00 pm then exit the park can we ride the resort monorail back to the Contemporary around 12:30 or 12:45

Monorial typically runs at least an HR after park closing. As long as you are in line for it before the 1hr mark you'll make it on the train. I would recommend the walking path because it'll be super crazy for the train that evening.
