MNSSHP and not dressing up

Yep! We always go to the Disney outlet and get their Halloween tshirts and pjs for our trip!

That's perfect! I'm thinking this is the way to go rather than trying to find a costume that isn't too hot and would travel well. Hopefully I can talk the kids into it!

My first MNSHHP I actually felt weird IN costume, cause so few were dressed that night.

We did as other posters did - wore themed t-shirts and shorts, but didn't dress in costume. Remember that it can be very hot and humid in September and October. I saw quite a few sweaty, miserable kids in full-on Halloween costumes, and felt sorry for them!

Just be warned you might feel left our once you get there if you don't dress up. The first year we went we didn't dress up and then felt very jealous of all the costumes that people wear, so we've dressed up ever since.

We will be attending our first MNSSHP so I can't comment from direct experience, but everything I've read here leads me to believe that the earlier you go (such as my wife and I who are attending the first party), the fewer people that will be in costume. Because of this, we are foregoing dressing up. We would have considered it had we been attending a later October party.

Last time I was the Evil Queen as the Hag....Little DD4 was Snow White (DH was Peter Pan and Big DD8 was Tink)....It was very uncomfy for me to have a mirror around my neck and a piece of material on my head. This time I'm thinking Olaf hat for me, Sven headband for DH, Elsa for Little DD9 (blonde) (She has the dress already) and Anna for Big DD13.

We dressed up when we went 2 years ago and I wished I didnt because it was just to hot and uncomfortable. I would say half the people did not dress up.
