MNSSHP and Member Site Question

I posted this on another thread but thought maybe it belonged over here instead....

This might be me being stupid but when I go on the member site it shows MNSSHP twice, once before Night of Joy and then again after it with the same dates but with diff prices. I'm confused.... I want to make sure that if we purchase the cheaper tickets that they will be honored. Why are there two diff prices listed?

From what I can tell, the first occurrence is for the DVC tickets. It says in the descriptor paragraph "proof of DVC required". The second occurrence is general advanced purchase price. HTH.

I went to the perks page, selected WDW then clicked the link for the discounted AP. Then I changed it from AP to special events.

Took me a few minutes to find them myself.

I think the discount is off the full gate price, not the advance price, at least I think I read that on here.

Also, it seems that if you buy the DVC discounted tickets, delivery is will-call only, b/c you have to show them your DVC membership card for verification. Wish you could just put in your number. But then I guess other people could "borrow" numbers. Anyway, got my tickets! YippEE!

Member Privileges > Member Perks > WDW Resort > WDW Annual Pass Savings and More Disney Magic > WDW Annual Pass Savings. In the section titled 'How to Purchase a Pass' click on 'Walt Disney World Ticket Store'. Then change 'Browse Available Tickets' to Special Events and then click the Go button.

I Called yesterday and bought my tickets for Sept. 20th, and they told me they are will call pick up only, and that I will need to show my DVC membercard or Annual pass at time of pick up.

Don't forget to add in tax, too. I found my info first at www.wdwmagic.com

I have looked and looked and can't find them MNSSHP ticket information on the Member website either. I finally called MS and got the information.

The dates of October 7, 13, 21, 28, 30, and 31st are not discounted at all. Not even for DVC, AP, advanced purchase or for military. I sort of understand the dates closer to Halloween, but I don't get the first three dates.

They are hard to find EVERY year! I gave up and bought them while at WDW last year - sadly they didn't allow me the DVC discount either.

They have to be purchased at least one day prior to the date you wish to attend. You could always call MS and pick them up at your resort or at the Magic Kingdom.

I always thought will-call had to be picked up at the parks - not the resorts?
