I had a panic attack last night wondering how the Magicbands will know that I want to use my MNSSHP tickets to get into the park at 4pm and not use my 1-day park hopper. Does anyone know how this will work?

I understand that the MNSSHP & MVMCP tickets are not linked to the Magic Band. We have AP Magic Bands and are attending the MNSSHP in September. We were sold actual tickets for the event that are to be turned in the night of the party.

You should still get actually tickets and not use your bands to enter the party. Not sure if this is still the case, but when I went in December I was able to link our tickets to MDE to get 3 FP+ between 4 and 7 and then still use our actual party tickets to enter the park.

I plan on using my hard ticket to enter.
The tickets are linked on the MB, so be careful.....just in case

Yes. We got our party tickets in the mail. So we were just planning on using those to enter. However, now we plan to spend the afternoon in MK anyways so it wont matter. lol. But you will probably just want to make sure you do not scan your MB and scan the party tickets instead. :thumbsup2

When you get the party tickets (cards) in the mail, you can link them in the MDE app. Before the party starts, you have to go to a check in place (there are several) in the park and you can show them your card. Last year, we just used our magic bands and they gave us a wristband to wear.

You can link them with the number on your ticket (card) and under My Reservations and Tickets in the app

I was told that the tickets would be linked to the MB, but I was also nervous about it, so when I ordered my tickets, I requested hard copies also.

I ordered will call tickets, so I hope I can get a hard ticket when I get there.

I also have some questions about the use of Magic bands and MNSSHP. I have seen a number of threads mentioning the importance of not using linking your MNSSHP tickets to your magic band and/or not using your magic band to enter the park for MNSSHP. I have inferred that this is because of concern that it would count as a regular park admission against the account. Is this correct? If so, is this something we would not need to worry about if we already plan to go to he parks earlier in the same day and are using hoppers? Thanks.

Glad I am not the only once concerned about this. I ordered tickets for both the Villains Party, and MNNSHP for our upcoming trip. Both show up in MDE. I requested Will Call for both, but am now concerned that they are tied to my MB's / MDE and I will wind up having problems. MNSSHP isn't going to cause any issues, as we will be in MK that day anyway, but if it manages to use a day off our 10 day tickets for the villains party, we will be in trouble.

Party officially begins at 7 not 4. I'd assume magicbands will use both a park hopper and your MNSSHP. :) No reason to tell the guests, after all that's the official policy.

I'm going to use a hard ticket and cover my magicband with tin foil.
