MNSSHP and Magic Bands

Hi
Does anyone know if the MNSSHP tickets will be put on the Magic bands.???
How will it work if a friend is joining us for the party and does not have a resort reservation or Band??

We were given hard tickets last Sept. At that time, there was no way for the system to differentiate between regular park tickets and event tickets linked to the MB. I'm not sure if they have worked out that glitch yet.
