MNSSHP and LTT @4:30pm

Hi Everyone,
I'm still a Disney newbie. I've only been once in 2005 and this forum was the best thing I could have had to prepare.
I have an ADR that I'm not sure I should keep. We, Me, DH, DD12, & DS10, have tickets to go to the MNSSHP on Sept.14. We have planned this as a pool day and then on to MNSSHP as soon as we can. The very nice CM I spoke with told me I can't get in till 6pm unless I have an ADR at a MK restaurant. She set us up with LTT at 4:30pm and said that way we can get in at 4pm. Well, I was reading on the boards about people getting in no problem at 4p without ADRs.
Here's my questions:
1. Are we able to get in at 4p without an ADR?
2. If so, can we start riding the rides at 4p or will we have to stay in some designated waiting area until time for the party?
3.Will we have any trouble finding a CS to eat at during the party? Maybe Pecos Bills or CHH?

You can, unofficially, get in after 4:00p with just your party ticket. They've been allowing this for the past few years.

There is no longer a designated waiting area before the party. You can do whatever you want during that time.

I would keep the ADR though as it's a great way to start the party right, IMHO.

CS restaurants will be PACKED during the party and probably the hour before the party. Pesco Bill is open during the party; CHH is NOT.

We have annual passes so the 4:00 admission is not an issue. But at last year's MVMCP we entered the MK around 4 and the CM at the turnstile was insistent that we use our MVMCP tickets to gain entry. So I know they were letting people in and giving out wristbands at the gate that early. Before any of the parties we enjoy eating a sit down meal in the MK. Either LTT, the Crystal Palace or the Plaza. We're not fans of Tony's. CS is crowded during the parties and we would not give up party time to eat. By making ADR's around 4:30 like you have, you are done eating and in the park when the special activities for the party begin.

Thank you Beattyfamily and Patsmom for your help. I will keep the ADR fot LTT at 4:30p. I'm thankful for such a kind CM when I was making my reservations. She basicly told me that the ADR at 4:30p was a great one and that I was lucky to get it. I am soooo looking forward to this WDW trip!

The CM was correct. Keep them and know many, many families will want that res soon!
