We're going to MNSSHP but did not purchase a park ticket for that day.

MDE let me schedule FP for that day. All FP times are for times when party goers are let in early (after 4pm but before 7pm).

Will we be able to use these if we go into the park on a MNSSHP ticket and not a MYW/other ticket?

All indications are that this will work. You are entitled to the 4-7 PM FPs with the MNSSHP ticket.

I know last year I was warned about liniking my MNSSHP ticket to my MDE, but it was all very new then. I think iit was sorted by the time of the Christmas parties. Consensus now is that this is the way it works.

Yes. See the green link in my signature for answers to this and many other FP FAQs.

I'm a little confused by this. You don't have any park tickets, but you could schedule fast passes for your MNSSHP ticket? We also have MNSSHP tickets, but also have our other park tickets (6 day). We have chosen to attend AK that morning, and scheduled fast passes for that. However, I cannot schedule any more fast passes for MNSSHP because I have used up my 6 day passes on other parks. I could schedule the fast passes for MK that evening I am guessing, but I would lose my fast passes for AK that morning.

I am curious to know if you are using a regular park ticket to schedule the fast passes at MK that evening and maybe you don't realize it? If not, have you somehow linked your MNSSHP ticket to MDE? I'm not sure how it's possible to do what you have done. Thanks for your help!!

You can link party tickets and reserve 3 FPs in MK for that day between 4:00p and 7:00p.

In my MDE account, the MNSSHP tickets are showing up in the same place as my park tickets, and are assigned to each person. So I am assuming they are linked. I have tried to link them before and it says they are already linked.

I'm guessing the previous poster is not going to another park that day, therefore can use the party ticket to get the three at MK on their party day.

So Disney needs to come up with a way to treat the MNSSHP ticket like a park hopper ticket. If you are paying the extra money for the extra party ticket, you should be allowed the 3 fast passes with that separate ticket, in my opinion....

I did call Disney to get clarification, wondering if I had a bad link on my tickets or something like that. The person I talked to at Disney said there are no fast passes for MNSSHP, and that it is a loophole that people are able to book the 4-7pm fast passes. He also said that if the park is full or at large capacity, Disney says that you might not be allowed in until after 7 pm. It is not a guarantee that you are allowed in from 4-7 for your MNSSHP ticket, and not to depend on that. I have never heard of anyone complaining about it on the boards, but I guess it could happen. Anyway, the option he suggested is that once my 3 fast passes are used at AK, that I have to physically go to the kiosk at MK (not at AK, not on phone, computer, etc..) to get 3 more. That is something I can do, so at least we aren't completely left out of the fast pass process.

The MDX system is not configured to allow more than 3 reserved FPs per account per day, no matter how many tickets you could use to enter the parks on any particular day.

As for what the phone CM said, whatever. There is zero chance the park will see large crowds or that partygoers will be denied entry after 4:00p. They really are a poor source of operational park info.

I know, right? I can just see all those people dressed up in their Halloween costumes between 4 and 7 thinking they are getting in, and someone tells them they have to wait. It will be a Mickey's Very Scary Halloween Party outside the gates! :furious:
