MNSSHP and fastpass

I asked this in the MNSSHP 2017 thread, but is unanswered and getting buried...

How do you schedule and then use fastpasses for MNSSHP (4-6:30 window) if you purchase tix online (print out) and don't have magicbands? I'm asking for my sister who is only going to the party and not staying on property. Can you even still make FPs with a MNSSHP ticket?

Nobody needs MagicBands to make or use FP+.

But, if you do print out your tickets (which is an unnecessary thing to do if you want to use FP+) you need to go to a ticket booth or Guest Relations and pick up a plastic
RFID version of the ticket in order to access the FP+ readers in the park.

To make advance FP+, the party ticket needs to first be added to your MDE account.
(Input the ticket number or order confirmation number.)

Again, if you intend to use FP+ there is no need to print out your ticket.

Once the ticket is added to her "my Disney experience," at 30 days, she SHOULD be able to make FP+ starting at 4:00.

Actually, the first FP window time needs to be starting at about 3:30PM.
(Otherwise, the third FP can't be booked for the window time to end by 6:30PM.)

That changes everything.

If she has any MBs that are active in her MyDisneyExperience account, and she puts her party ticket numbers into that MDE account,
then she can use the MBs both for
FP+ access at the park and for park entry to the party.

No need to print the tickets or to pick up any other plastic tickets at WDW.

Ok great, this helps a lot. She thought she threw out her magicbands from last year (seriously) so she wasn't sure what to do. Luckily she just found them. Thanks everyone.
