MNSSHP and a 1 Day ticket question

Ok weird question I haven't been able to get answered.

We are going down in October and the plan is to do MNSSHP (at 4 pm) on our first day and then do Epcot another day.

My question is, if we link our party tickets to our magic bands (to make fast pass selections for 4-7) will our band "know" that it should be using the party ticket and not our 1 day 1 park ticket when we enter MK at 4pm?

I guess we could just ask someone when we get there. I just like to know this kind of info beforehand.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Enter with the hard ticket instead of your band.

If you enter through the MNSSHP line, even at 4, it should only accept an MNSSHP ticket (they will have a line for the party-goers off to the side). If you're still worried, you can also have guest services prioritize your tickets, if you are worried. While this was a problem the first yer of Magic Bands, it should work just fine now.
