Will the halloween party be too scary for a 3.5 year old. DD knows all the characters and loves all things Disney. She is a little timid when things are "spooky".

We took DS3 on our last trip in September. He wasn't scared at all. But, I didn't think it was geared toward their age group. Honestly, its pretty late for a 3 yr old and unless your going to have a REALLY calm relaxing day, I think it's too late and too much for a 3 yr old. There were also much older kids on the bus on the way back to the hotel who were falling asleep and just miserable. Also, keep in mind that if it's a late night, chances are the next day won't be an early start. We'll wait until DS is MUCH older before trying this again.

We took our 4 year old and 2 year old last year and were there until fairly late after a very full day at the parks, got on the Disney Cruise the next day and they were fine. It wasn't too spooky for them at all. It's really not a spooky experience from what we saw anyway. Good luck!

We took our 4 kids last year with the two youngest being 3 and 5 at the time. Nothing at the party scared them. These are also the same two girls who will at times hide their eyes when they see one of the "bad guys" in the Disney movies.

We also never referred to the party by it's proper name to the youngest ones. It was just Mickey's Halloween Party to them. We tried to play it safe by keeping the word "scary" out of it.

We LOVE the halloween party! The first time we went DD was just over 2. We took her again last year at age 3 and we already have our room booked for this year! My DS will be 2 when we go this year, he did go last year, but I'm sure doesn't remember it. My DD loves it and talks all the time about going to Disney World for halloween. She was not scared at all.

We went last year with our then 5.5 year old and 1.5 year old and nothing scared them. They both passed out before the last parade but that was fine. It can make for a long day for them but both of mine handled it just fine.

My little 3 yr old hated it.. I think she didn't like the villian music.. she was fine meeting Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs... and Donald in the pumpkin outfit.. but no villians and she didn't want any part of the parade.. so I missed most of it.. but.. I will tell you.. to this day she will say.. I don't want to go Trick or Treating at Disney.. I want to go when its all fine there and not spooky.. so she didn't like it..
