MNSSHP 2006, Ready to start planning!

Could you tell me where you found Chip dressed as a pirate? Did you see any other characters in costume at the party last year? I can't wait to character hunt at this year's party!

Hi GabbyRoseBud! Thanks! These pictures were from our last MNSSHP which was in 2003, but according to these boards, nothing really has changed much
At night, I don't remember what time, maybe around 9:00? Right in front of the castle All the characters that you really never see, like the Villians, are there and then the regular ones are there all dressed up in Their Halloween costumes!
I've got photos of the girls and us with The Evil Queen from Snow White (that's in my signature, she's handing me an apple!) Scrooge McDuck, Maleficient, The mean guy from Pocohontas, Captain Hook, Chip And Dale, Donald, a bear, I think he was from Song of the South, Queen of Hearts and a bunch of others. They were all just standing there, there wasn't even a crowd when we went, the characters were lined up FOR US to take a photo!!!!!

This year, even if it's crowded, we'll line up because when do you ever see some of these guys, you know?

Oh, in Toon Town we saw Mickey and Donald dressed up in harvest style costumes.
When you get there, you'll get a map and it will tell you where the candy stands are and what times the parades will be held and where the characters will be.

As far as the candy bags, if you look at our photos, you'll see the orange bags . We went into the park early at 4:00 (when you have MNSSHP tickets, you can enter at 4:00, but the party doesn't start 'till 7:00)
So we went in at 4:00 and then we went down to Town Hall after dinner at CP and picked up our bags, they're free
And don't forget to take the family photo, that's free too and they'll send it to your house!

Also, about the pins, I didn't know this until AFTER the party, but they only sell one pin per person (MNSSHP Pins). We bought 3, but I could've bought 4.

Yes, if you go to www.dizpins.com, a couple weeks before the party starts, they will have pics of all the different pins and their dates. At least they have the last couple of years.

The tickets are on sale! It took 7 phone calls but finally I got them!

Also, I got a CM who finally could get me a LTT ADR for any time I wanted between 5:00p and 9:00p!

Thanks! Just talked to Sybil Ann in tickets and got our tickets for 9/29 and our LTT ADR changed to 5:15pm. I'm very excited. Now we can go in at 4pm, shop main street for an hour, go eat, go to whatever land is open, and start having fun!

Yes, she cancelled the 4:20 ADR for 5 and got us a table at 5:15pm for 5. Perfect time for us! Finish dinner by 6:15-6:30, go to the open land, get in line for our pic at 7pm, and have all night to play. Thanks for the heads up!

Just bought tickets for 9/29 and 10/2 for me and DH. Got an ADR for 9/29 @ 5:15 for LTT. I figured if they are backed up and we have to wait awhile to get in we still wont miss any of the party. Got and ADR 10/2 @ Whispering Canyon for 5:00 we are staying at Wilderness Lodge so we don't have to rush around on that night.

Now can i say I'm really excited

We have a reservation at LTT for 4:20. Will they let us in the park at that time on our mnsshp ticket. I am planning on going to AK earlier in the day but do not want to get turned away when I get ready to go to dinner.

They should. For the past few years (since 2001) they have unofficially been letting party goers in after 4:00p with just their party ticket.

Hi! DisneyMommyMichelle, I'll see you on the 5th! I'm so excited this morning! I'm on hold right now with a Disney Dining CM to get tickets for Oct. 2 and Oct. 5. She seems to be having trouble selling me the tickets, so she's checking on it now. Well, she just came back on and said that they're having trouble loading the tickets into the system and to call back in an hour. She was aware that people have already bought their tickets.
LTT was available for later times though! I have a ADR at LTT for 4:30PM on Oct. 2nd. Do you all think I should switch to a later time, like 5:00PM? Just curious what you think.
