Any thoughts on when this will sell out?? I've planned a last minute trip the last week on October, and was surprised that the party wasnt sold out yet, and that i was able to get all my first choice ADR's, except Liberty Tree on 10/31 before the party.

So with Halloween being on a tuesday, is this why its not sold out yet?? Thanks!

P.S. I already bought my ticket, i'm just being curious.

One reason it's not sold out is because there was some confusion on the Not Avail.markings next to those dates when CRO CM's were looking at them.

I was even told they were sold out and have been for a few months ( wanted the 30th but 27th and 31st were NOT AVAIL. as well ). I was on Passholder sight earlier in the day and it must have still be active as they weren't showing the dates there either. I then checked using Netscape through regular ticketing and the date were there I ordered them ( got the tickets the other day) .Then called to see what was up the CM then said it's just hitting them and the Not Avail just means Not Avail for any discounts and thats where the confusion was.

Cool, thanks for the info. Yea, i was surprised that i still could purchase tickets this late.

People are selling tickets on Ebay claiming that the 31st is already sold out and bidders are bidding way above the odds. The tickets are still freely available from the Disney website but I agree with tmt martins about the confusion on the 'not available' tag for those dates. The early purchase discount is not available but many people understandably interpreted that to mean the tickets are not available.

Last year I bought 10/31 tickets the first week of October - it sold out a could days after I bought my tickets. The year before it sold out sometime in September.

I saw the listing on ebay as well. I think it's up to $265 for 3adult/1child tickets plus shipping! The same person keeps bidding on them and currently has 0 ebay transactions...I keep thinking it's probably the person that listed the tickets bidding under a different username trying to drive the price up even more. The other people bidding must be complete ding-dongs for not checking w/Disney directly.

Does anyone know when the tickets actually come out for purchase??? I have been reading here that some people have had theirs for a long time...

We are going next year and I don't want to take any chances.... :hmghost:

:lmao: I know. I was actually quite sympathetic when I saw the last auction for ridiculously expensive MNSSHP tickets (last week) but you know what? That auction is over and one of the losing bidders is back again bidding on this new auction. In last week's auction the tickets went for 295 dollars - 120 dollars over their value (3 ad + 1 ch ticket). I think you're right. Some of the, er, 'bidders' are probably the seller with another nick. I have no sympathy any more! lol

I've been to parties on sold out nights and on "low attendance" nights and never noticed a difference. On both types of days there are parts of the park that are packed, and parts that are near empty. As long as you are flexible (there's a line, we'll come back later) you can spend the whole party without ever dealing with a big crowd. Even on 10/31 I did all rides as a near walk-on, saw the parade without having to camp out for a spot (though it was the late parade) etc.

Do you suppose it's the same exact tickets and maybe the winner of the first auction realized the event was not sold out and refused to make payment? There's definitely something very fishy about this.

The only thing is that last week's auction was from a U.K. Ebayer and this week's is a U.S. one. Not sure she/he could disguise their location but it's possible. Definitely something fishy going on.

could we email the bidder and let them know something? That's very weird - wouldn't you think they would call Disney first?

But thats the problem when I called as well as others on another thread WE were told that the 27th,30, and 31st were sold out because they were showing as Not Avail.

They are most likey in a panic mode as I also checked E-bay before using WDW ticketing through my Netscape browser to secure my tickets.

Yes It would be nice to notify them of that but I'm thinking maybe of buying some tickets and putting them up to offset the cost :lmao:

Ebay forbids members to contact bidders about an auction while it's still live. Having said that, it's very difficult to stand aside and do nothing when people are being duped. I posted about last week's auction (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1216742) - I complained that seller to Ebay because she told outright lies (by saying that the tickets are sold out and that they can't be bought in the UK  - also she lied about the face value of the tickets). Of course Ebay took no action, to the best of my knowledge.

I know that another DISer did send a msg to the bidders to warn them. And yet, one of those bidders who was told that the tickets *are* still available and are much cheaper than she was bidding, is bidding now again on this new auction.

You can't get through to some people. There's only so much one can do! :)

I'd be lying if I didn't admit that that very thought crossed my mind too. :lmao:  :tiptoe:
