Have tickets for 10/15- I was under the impression that the entire park closes from 6pm and reopens at 7 for MNSSH. From reading the threads it sounds like you can stay in park. Can you?

We have PS for 5pm, should we keep it and just stay in park?

ONe more question thought we would save Fantasyland for MNSSH. DOes that sound like a good idea?

Thanks so much!!!!

Yes you are correct they close at 6 pm and re-open at 7 for MNSSH.

And yes you are correct in that you can stay in the park. The park closes at 6 but they do not shew you out. All the stores on main street are still open.

Since you are going on the 15th. I would think this might be a bussier day for MNSSH. But you should still have no problems getting on the rides.

You can enter the MK with your MNSSHP tickets beginning at 4 PM. We went on 10/3 and had a great time. We entered the park about 5 PM with our tickets with no problem. They ask everyone with MNNSHP tickets to go to Tomorrowland at 6 PM while they set up other areas of the park. I saw several people who were already in the park show their tickets to cast members who were giving out the wrist bands. I assume they had been in the park earlier in the day. Let me know if you have any questions and have a great time.

How do they get the non-party people out of the park? Do they still let them get candy or go on the rides? I know you need a wrist band, but how well is it controlled. Do they escourt non-party people out? :cool1: :confused3

If you go early enough (between 4&5) you won't be herded to Tomorrowland. We went early on the 3rd and were never told to move anywhere, we moved freely throughout the park. However, on the 8th we got there just before 6pm and we were forced to go into tomorrowland where everyone else was.

There are lots of people leaving the park as you go in, and you may have to show your wristband you get as you enter a few times before the party starts.

They are very good at clearing out th park during that hour the park is officially closed. It's amazing.

All those without wristbands will be asked to leave and sometimes escorted out.

That is why only Tomorrowland is open. They even close most of the counter services and stores for that hour to help clear out the park.

Disney does a very good job of escorting people out.

I did a Character Dinner before MVMCP several years ago and they came thru the resturant and checked our tickets. As we left if you did not have armbands you were escorted out. (I saw one Family who I think was trying to game the system and got outsmarted by Disney LOL!)
