Been to neither. Had hoped to get to go to the Halloween festivities but that's not going to work out. I get the excitement around MNSHHP - trick or treating, characters you normally don't see, etc. What makes the Christmas party worth (or appear) the money for the ticket?

As far as worth, for me, I use the party ticket instead of a day ticket to MK. I love the festive atmosphere of both parties, I love being in MK late at night, the ride overlays, special parades, stage shows, trick or treat and Christmas cookies and hot chocolate. Several years ago we met Jack Skellington in his Santa costume, good fun, and all 7 dwarfs. I plan to attend both parties this year (plus Jollywood at DHS), but my MNSSHP on this coming Thursday may be a washout. I get great airline rates and fly down several times a year, special occasions and parties are a big draw for me. It's something different and like I said, I love the late night vibe.

For us, MVMCP is an early christmas gift for us. Although a big fan of the halloween party, we prefer the holiday atmosphere to the trick or treat festivities. We love the MK at night, love the projections and fireworks, but the christmas lights and decor win out. you have to love the smaller crowds for both parties, and the special party treats. Both parties are fun, but we are partial to the christmas party.

We love Halloween party, but this year doing Christmas.

Instead of candy trails, it's cookie trails! Fireworks are special to party and I've heard they are amazing! Parade looks really fun and it snows on Main Street.

But I'm looking forward most to the ride overlays on Speedway and Space Mountain!

Both are fantastic. I think it really depends on the "vibe" you're looking for or the holiday you prefer. To me, Disney at Christmas is nothing but PURE MAGIC and has the most warm and fuzzy/cozy/happy vibes. We also love the Halloween party; just prefer Christmas on the whole.

MNSSHP was a better experience than MVMCP for my family. The Halloween vibes are to die for!!! The boo to you parade was spooktacular!!! The Christmas party was a bit of a let down. Also being hot at the Christmas party felt funny since we are used to the cold and snow in December back home. You will enjoy the Christmas party but it’s no different than a typical MK day.
