My family hasn't been to Disney since 2013 and this trip we are beginning the trip with grandparents and then staying a few days longer. We were planning to get tickets for the night of 9-10, but that is our first day there and the grandparents will not want to go to the party. The next option would be 9-17, after they leave, but in our family of 7, more than likely, someone will have caught some sort of virus by then (after a week in the parks). So I am trying to decide:

1. Sept. 10 date - have grandparents do something else that night

2. Sept. 17 date - Back to just our family, but risk someone being sick (worst case scenario-stomach bug)

I am going to the 9-12 party, would think that would be a better option rather than going on arrival day. By Tuesday maybe Gma and Gpa would need a break and more rest which would leave your family open to going on Tuesday.

do the 9/12 and let Grandparents have a night off. i went with my parents a couple years ago and by day three they needed a break!
