MNNSHP or MVMCP

For those who have done both...which do you recommend more? and why? Going next year & are flexible with dates so would like to include 1 of these events. I have done MNSSHP and enjoyed it...I do have 3 kids 10, 8, 6...would they enjoy the christmas event?

If you are speaking of just the events then my family would pick the Halloween party. We have been to both 3 times each. It just seems there is more going on during the Halloween party. We also think the overall theme is better at MNSSHP.

With that being said I have to mention that the timeframe for the Christmas party is nicer due to the fact that you are immersed in an entire world of Christmas theme. You feel the Christmas theme no matter where you go.

Oh boy, that's a tough one. I love both. I love both so much that I alternate each year. I've done 3 parties of each too and I'm doing my 4th MVMCP the end of November. I did both parties this year for the first time.

If I really had to choose one, I'd lean toward MVMCP because I love Christmas so much. I love the decorations, music, the parade, the fireworks, the shows and the snow falling down Main Street and the overall atmosphere. It's magical.

But MNSSHP is fun too.

Tough call.

We have done both and I like MVMCP better. MNSSHP was fun but not something I felt like I needed to do more than once.

The special Christmas shows at MVMCP are really good and the parade is wonderful. The snow on Main Street is pretty cool too. We really liked the hot chocolate and cookies too. My son is 4 and he liked MVMCP better as well.

Having done both, I'd pick MVMCP. I love the snow on Main Street and prefer the weather in December.

Hands down, Christmas. For the parade alone!! This time of the year just invokes so much happiness anyway, being at Disney, double happiness!! I have done both, Christmas is WAY more fun!! And pretty!! The poinsettia trees are gorgeous.

We've done both and I like MNSSHP better! Mostly because the kids did too. They really loved dressing up in their favorite Disney characters. The Christmas party was nice and I will do it again, but really I would chose MNSSHP in a heartbeat. I also like the weather and travel time of year better.

We have done both and my girls would pick MNSSHP.

But overall...I prefer Christmas time at Disney and that includes MVMCP!

This year was my first MNSSHP and this will be our 3rd MVMCP. I would go with the Xmas party. Maybe it was bad timing but the Halloween party was much much busier than any Xmas party I have been to. We got a lot more done at the Xmas party and the cookies and hot cocoa. Plus I love the Holidays. It was fun trick-or-treating and seeing the characters in halloween costumes but it was so busy.
