Ok I was SO disapointed to learn the hard rock in MN closed, which was the one restraunt I wanted to go to for my birthday (i collect the pins). So mom chose rainforest cafe for her restraunt. Any ideas for mine? were looking for a fun restraunt, midpriced. It will be just two of us.

Chino Latino but I guess a lot depends on what food you like and where you want to be - downtown, burbs, tapas, sushi, meat, etc...

We like Bubba Gump at MOA, The Melting Pot, Mancini's, Cossetta's, Buca...

We are planning on staying in bloominginton but are gonna be at MOA one day for rainforest. Were also planning a day wandering the sculpture garden (and whatever else we see), so near the sculpture garden prehaps? I have food allergies to seafood, sunflower oil and papaya so we try to eat american for the most part.

Are you a fan of the Juicy Lucy? There is a place called The Nook that has the best Juicy Lucy's I've ever had and the same people also own a place called Shamrock's the serves the same food. The Nook was on Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive ins & Dives. Shamrocks is really easy to get to from Bloomington - just take Hwy 5 past the airport and it turns into W 7th. Shamrock's is on W 7th.

Punch Pizza! (or Savoy for that matter - two completely different styles) If $$ is no object, there is always Manny's or La Bella Vie (across from the sculpture Gardens)

Everything at MOA is a chain - not horrible, but not unique.

p.s. the best Juicy Lucy is at the 58 Club, near the mall.

Lord Fletchers on Lake Minnetonka is yummy!!! Or a burger place called Lions Tap in Eden Prairie.
