I'm looking at the possibility of staying on-property with a package for part of our stay and off-property for the remainder in order to come in within the budget. I have two questions.

Monday: Nothing special
Tuesday: Attend MM
Wednesday: Use TTMN coupons
Thursday: How's the MM work when I'm checking out of the on-site property on that day?
Friday: Nothing special
Saturday: Can I go to the MM on this day as an off-property guest? I think I remember reading that they mark the ticket when you're off-property and you can only have one mark, but I won't have had a mark before this point since I was on-property so I wonder if I can use it this time.

Regarding Thursday, your check-out day, YES you can still use the MM that day.

Regarding Saturday, this SHOULD work, but be sure to tell the CM's swiping your entry ticket that you are NOT using the MM from your ticket that day because you will be checking out of the hotel in the middle of your stay. If they do it accidentally, you'll be out of luck! It's not a physical mark, like a stamp, it's just encoded on the strip on your ticket.

Ahhh! OK! Thank you! :goodvibes

Personally I would go with off property first and then move to on property. The other way would seem like a let down to me. If you were to do off property first, then no worries about accidently using the MM entry on your tickets before you want to use it.

Yes, that would be wise. The reason I want on-property first is because I will be alone with the children the first four days and my husband will then be joining me. I really want the convenience and perks while I am all by myself. When my husband comes, we're going to do the family activities like character dining and the parades so going off-property at the same time won't be such a let down. AND, the time my husband is there is the most expensive days. So together that translates into on-property first. :confused3 I think it will work out well. I really appreciate your input because it's a very good point worth considering!
