Another newbie question! One of my big
purchases today at J's with the 40% coupon was the Making Memories setting mat for 3.49. (I'm telling you selection was baaadddd). The mat is 4''x4'' and black.
Anyway, I've never tried setting an eyelet before or punching a hole. And I've never seen anyone else do it yet (I better get to a crop soon!) So I decided to try my new tools out (50% coupon was used for the MM tool kit). I used the hole puncher with some sb paper and the mat underneath. It made a round dented hole in my setting mat! Is that normal? I'm just thinking that after a couple dozen whacks this mat is going to look bad.

Seriously, I'm not sure how you could cut holes with it & not make marks in the mat.
I do have a bunch of free ones I've picked over the years.

I have ideas for more pages, but am waiting for my shipment of stuff to arrive.
I really hope that I can leave the DIS for at least an hour to go finish some pages this week.
