I have some flexibility with our travel....would you suggest MM on Saturday or Sunday (March 19 or 20). Would one of the mornings be less crowded than the other? Thanks for your help.

From my MM superthread: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1675403

Which day of our trip should we go to MM?Generally if there are two MM days offered during your trip, but you only have 1 MM to use the best day to use it would be the first possible day. So if you were going to the parks for a very long weekend (Saturday-Tuesday) and you only had 1 MM, you would have to choose to use it on Saturday, Sunday, or Tuesday. My recommendation is to use it on Saturday because by the end of your trip you WILL be more tired and less inclined to wake up early. Also, even though crowds on Saturdays and Sundays will be greater, it is better to choose these days (if possible) than weekdays during offseasons. This is true because the parks open sometimes 2 hours earlier on the weekends than on the weekdays and less people will want to get up for MM at 7AM on a Saturday than 9AM on a Tuesday.

In this case, I would go Saturday because it will be easier to get up early the earlier you are in your trip. Both should be about the same crowd-wise.

I find that everyone goes on Saturday because it tends to be thier first chance at a MM. On Sunday prior to MM there is less people lining up for MM and it isn't as busy once inside.

I second this. Sunday mornings usually seem less crowded to us than Saturday mornings. I think for many people Sunday morning is for sleeping in or church, or Sunday is their travel day. Whatever the reason for the seemingly lower morning crowds, you might want to consider using your MM for Sunday.

This would only work if the guest and/or any children in the group did not get so tired on Saturday that the great plan for Sunday falls thru because they cannot get up in time to take advantage of it.

Personally I think one should always do MM on the first possible day unless there are some special circumstance (such as very late arrival on the first night).

I am in DLR29's camp. :)

I am too.

& if coming from Mountain, Central or Eastern time zone.....I'm emphatically in DLR 29's camp.
